1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan, or otherwise using PredictX ("the Service", "the Platform"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PredictX ("we", "us", "our"). Your continued use of the Platform following any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

PredictX is an AI-powered sports analytics and entertainment platform that provides:

Daily AI-generated sports predictions across football, NBA, MLB, tennis, and Formula 1
Win probability analysis and confidence ratings
An AI vs User prediction game with a points-based leaderboard
Sports news aggregation from third-party sources
Historical prediction tracking and accuracy statistics

The Service is provided on a freemium basis. Certain features are available to all registered users at no cost, while premium features require a paid subscription.

3. Not a Gambling Service

Important: PredictX is strictly an entertainment and analytics platform. We do not offer, facilitate, or promote gambling, betting, or wagering of any kind. No real money is won or lost through the Platform. Points earned through the AI vs User game have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash or prizes.

Our predictions are generated by AI algorithms for informational and entertainment purposes only. They should not be used as the basis for any financial decisions, including but not limited to sports betting. We expressly disclaim any responsibility for actions taken based on our predictions.

If you choose to use our predictions in conjunction with third-party gambling services, you do so entirely at your own risk and in full compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. PredictX accepts no liability whatsoever for any losses incurred.

4. Accounts & Registration

To access certain features you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account
Not share your account credentials with any third party
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
Not create more than one account per person

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or engage in abusive behaviour towards other users or the Platform.

5. Subscription & Payments

PredictX offers a paid subscription ("Paid Member") at €9.99 per month. By subscribing you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation you retain access to Paid Member features until the end of your current billing period
We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused subscription periods
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice to registered users

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to access, scrape, or copy data from the Platform using automated means
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform
Interfere with the security or integrity of the Platform
Share, resell, or commercially exploit the predictions or data provided by the Platform
Create multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limitations
Use the Platform in any way that could damage our reputation or the experience of other users

7. Accuracy of Predictions

Our predictions are generated by AI algorithms and are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any predictions.

No guarantee of accuracy: Sports outcomes are inherently unpredictable. Even our highest confidence predictions can and will be incorrect. Past prediction accuracy is not a reliable indicator of future performance.

By using the Platform you acknowledge that you understand predictions are probabilistic estimates, not certainties, and that you will not hold PredictX liable for any prediction being incorrect.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to prediction algorithms, design, text, graphics, and software — is the property of PredictX and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content.

Sports news articles displayed on the Platform are sourced from third-party RSS feeds. All rights to such content remain with the original publishers.

9. Privacy & Data

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform you consent to such processing. Key points:

We collect your email address, username, and usage data (predictions viewed, picks submitted)
We use Stripe for payment processing — we never see or store your card details
We do not sell your personal data to third parties
Leaderboard usernames are publicly visible to other users of the Platform
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Platform, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. If you have an active paid subscription at the time of termination for cause, no refund will be provided. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused subscription period.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us to request account deletion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PredictX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify registered users by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
